Dr Justin Tan and the Village Dental Care team are here to make sure your experience with us is positive and comfortable. We seek to provide pain-free, cutting-edge dentistry to our community. Learn more about our friendly, welcoming staff.
Dr Justin Tan
BDS (Hons) Syd Uni, MRACDS, PGradDip Implantology, GradDip Clin Dent (Conscious Sedation and Pain Control)
Wanting to make a difference in people’s lives, Dr Tan chose to enter the dental field and was awarded a scholarship to study dentistry at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) in 1994. Since then, he has completed two postgraduate degrees, one in Dental Implantology from Charles Sturt University and another in Conscious Sedation and Pain Control from the University of Sydney.
He is certified by the the Dental Board of Australia to administer intravenous sedation to dental patients. He has a special interest in treating dentally anxious patients. The majority of his work involves the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, sedation dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and Orthodontics.
Monica has been working at Village Dental Care since 2019. She is an enthusiastic, helpful and a very friendly person. She graduated from Wollongong University with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 2010. Monica has also completed a Master of Gerontology Degree in 2013 at Wollongong University. Monica has been a Registered Nurse since her graduation. She worked at various aged care in the Southern Highlands and Bupa Care Berry before she joined the team.
After having two beautiful children, Monica decided to further her career in Dentistry. She loves all aspects of dentistry, she especially enjoys looking after patients, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure all patients’ experience at Village Dental Care is positive.
Monica loves Parkrun and she enjoys running with her English Cocker Spaniel on Weekends.

Olivia Nikiforoff
Oliva was born and raised in the Southern Highlands with her two older brothers. Olivia was a hairstylist before she joined the team, she always wanted to help people in different ways. Oliva enjoys being outside and travelling Australia. She is hoping to go overseas at some stage in the future.
Jordan loves all parts of working as a dental nurse, before working at village dental care she worked in hospitality when she decided it was time for a change. She loves all animals, being outdoors and reading.

My name is Jeff McDonald, I am a registered nurse with over 15 years of experience in emergency and critical care. I have been working with Village Dental for the past two years. I am passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that is tailored to each individual I treat. I am highly skilled at cannulation and meticulous with documentation and observations.
Throughout my career, I have led quality improvement initiatives that enhanced patient safety and clinical outcomes. I hold a post graduate in critical care and certifications in advanced life support. I am committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence. I look forward to helping you achieve your dental goals.
